Dr. Furkan AYDIN

Furkan Aydın graduated from Gaziantep University, Gaziantep/Turkey as a food engineer in 2015. After that, he studied specific fields of food microbiology. He got his PhD from Abant Izzet Baysal University, Bolu/Turkey in 2022. During PhD, he worked genetic diversity of yeast using DNA markers and trait-loci associations. He also studied the antimicrobial activity of different extracts derived from plant materials and microorganisms of food origin. Dr. Aydın is currently working on different projects regarding microbial genetics, antimicrobial activity, and food safety.
