Burcu ÖNAL ACET received her BS degree in Chemistry from Gazi University in 2015 and MSc degree in Chemistry Department in the field of Biochemistry from Aksaray University in 2018. She started her PhD education in 2019, and continues in the field of Biochemistry at Aksaray University, Department of Chemistry, under the supervision of Prof. Odabaşı. Her research interests are on the preparation and surface modification of biopolymeric and synthetic materials and their applications, molecularly imprinted polymers, biopolymeric nanomaterials for precision cancer therapies. She conducted some research sudies within the scope of Erasmus at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Spain in 2017 and at the National Academy of Science of Belarus, Minsk in 2022. She took part in TÜBİTAK-supported national and international projects. In 2023, she has conducted her studies under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Roland Hans Stauber in Universitäts Medizin der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Germany, for 12 months within the scope of 2214-A – International Research Fellowship Programme for PhD Students.
