Dr. Betül Bozdoğan

Dr. Betül Bozdoğan completed her undergraduate studies in Biology Education at Hacettepe University and completed her master’s and doctoral degrees in the Department of Nanotechnology & Nanomedicine at Hacettepe University. During her postgraduate education, she was employed as a research assistant in this department. In 2013, she worked as a visiting researcher at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Florida State University, where she conducted studies on gene expression analysis and cancer biomarkers. Throughout her academic career, she has conducted interdisciplinary research in areas such as self-assembling peptide nanostructures, electrochemical biosensors, drug and gene delivery systems, peptide nanocomposites, and polymeric biomaterials. She has actively participated in numerous projects supported by TÜBİTAK and various universities and has gained experience through international research collaborations. Currently, she continues her academic work focused on the development of innovative and functional materials in fields such as functional peptide-based materials, electrochemical sensor systems, and biomedical applications of nanostructures. She actively collaborates with national and international research groups and conducts multidisciplinary research projects.
